Murviedro Old Vine Bobal 2019

Made exclusively from selected grapes from old, low-yielding vines, this wine showcases the quality potential of Bobal, the native grape of Utiel-Requena. The grapes are destemmed and gently crushed, followed by a long maceration at a controlled temperature using a unique pump-over system. Malolactic fermentation then takes place. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for a minimum of eight months.

Tasting Notes

Color: Intense cherry red with a slight tile-colored rim.

Aroma: Deep and complex, reminiscent of wild strawberries on a balsamic background of toffee and vanilla.

Taste: Fresh, dense and fleshy, with round tannins and a very long aftertaste.
